Our Story
Issyk Kul Secondary School was established in 1995 with a vision to provide quality education to the youth of the Issyk Kul region. Named after the beautiful lake that defines our region, our school has grown to become one of the most respected educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan.
Founded by dedicated educators and supported by the local community, IKSS has consistently maintained high academic standards while nurturing well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to society.
Today, our school serves students from grades 5 through 11, offering a comprehensive curriculum that prepares them for higher education and future careers.

We maintain strong connections with our alumni network, who often return to mentor current students and share their experiences and insights.
Our Leadership
Mr. Karimov brings over 20 years of experience in education and has led our school for the past decade. He holds a Master's in Educational Leadership from Kyrgyz National University.
Ms. Kim oversees all academic programs at IKSS. She previously served as Head of Mathematics Department and has been with our school for 15 years.
Mr. Sultanbekov manages student activities, discipline, and welfare. He is passionate about developing leadership skills in young people.
Our Campus
IKSS's campus is located in Cholpon-Ata, near the beautiful shores of Issyk Kul lake. Our facilities are designed to provide an optimal learning environment with modern amenities.
