National Math Olympiad Success

We are proud to announce that students from Issyk Kul Secondary School have achieved remarkable success at the National Mathematics Olympiad held in Bishkek last week.
Our school's team, consisting of five students from grades 9-11, competed against 32 schools from across Kyrgyzstan. The competition tested students' mathematical knowledge, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities through a series of challenging tasks.
Adilet Karimov (Grade 11) won the gold medal in the senior category, while Alina Bekova (Grade 10) secured a silver medal. Additionally, our team placed second in the group competition, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and collaborative problem-solving skills.
"This achievement reflects the dedication of our students and the quality of our mathematics program," said Mr. Bakyt Orozov, Head of the Mathematics Department. "Our students spent months preparing for this competition, often staying after school hours to practice complex problems."
The school administration has organized a special assembly to recognize these outstanding achievements and inspire younger students to pursue excellence in mathematics and sciences.
The National Mathematics Olympiad is one of the most prestigious academic competitions in Kyrgyzstan, with winners often receiving scholarships and opportunities to represent the country in international competitions.
